Hi there! I'm Clay. I'm a recent cybersecurity graduate from Western Washington University (B.S. Cybersecurity, ABET-accredited; B.A. Philosophy), class of Summer 2026. I was named the Outstanding Graduate in Cybersecurity, 2026.
At WWU I captained the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition team to a 3rd place national finish, served as President of the Cybersecurity Club, and worked as a student intrusion-detection analyst in the PISCES program, monitoring live municipal network traffic in the ELK Stack. I now TA three upper-division security and systems courses.
Outside of class I design CTF challenges for the Red Team Association and generally the kind of person who thinks containerizing a process by hand with pivot_root is a reasonable Saturday activity.
